Medical Medium
Anthony William, a self-proclaimed medium created pseudoscientific health advice based on his communication with a spirit of compassion or angel. Anthony William can read a medical condition in a person like a book or newspaper. William gained this ability after being visited by “the spirit of compassion” at four years old. His gift has been believed by many and has cultivated his beliefs of naturalistic medicine, claiming that vegetables and fruits are the primary source of healing. Healing can go as far as a subcutaneous scratch to cancer.
Williams wrote many books to cure different types of injury/disease in the human body by using food. The foods he mentions include vegetables, herbs, spices, and wild foods (such as blueberries). The medical medium recommends that its followers avoid eggs, dairy, gluten, heavy metals, and toxic environments (e.g. pollution) as they handle all forms of chronic body pains and disease. Another practice by the medical medium is meditations, creative visualizations, breathing exercises and food and nature connecting.
Many of the medical medium’s advice is not backed up by science as he is skeptical of western medical practices. The practices of the medium have been proven to be contradictory. For example, the medical medium recommends that people eat nothing but fruits to improve body health, but overconsumption of such things can result in high sugar levels and an increased chance of diabetes. Many celebrities follow Anthony Williams’ health advice such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Sylvester Stallone.
