Growing up in a low-income household meant we always had to be resourceful, but sometimes, circumstances don’t allow that, and I think it’s important to highlight the injustices surrounding a basic right. Everyone deserves accessibility to nutritional, healthy, and safe food.
In the future, I plan to earn my Ph. D. in Biochemistry and open my own pharmaceutical with all the knowledge and lessons to prioritize lower-income and minority communities like my folk and family.
